Community Habilitation Day Habilitation Employment Services Residential Services

Like a house, a person’s health and wellbeing is constructed from quality material and investments. And, just like houses, people come in all forms, shapes, and sizes—but all of us need supportive maintenance and resources to remain strong and sturdy. Adults with developmental disabilities often have many overlapping support and health needs, and The Foundling provides comprehensive services and programs that strengthen their foundations as they work to meet their personal goals and reach their full potential.

The Foundling provides support for people with developmental disabilities throughout the New York metropolitan area, reaching more than 1000 adults and children every year. Our programs create a supportive and nurturing environment, helping the people we serve strive toward independence and become thriving members of their communities.

Developmental Disabilities

Residential Services

While many people with developmental disabilities are able to live independently or in the care of a close family member, some people require more intensive round-the-clock services that are tailored to their level of need. The Foundling offers a variety of residential programs for adults with developmental disabilities, so they can live independently with all the supports they need to succeed.
