Join Our Team

Therapist – Responsibilities and Requirements

Duties Include:

  • Delivering intensive family-focused therapy in order to reduce behaviors that put children at risk of placement out of the home (i.e., juvenile detention or foster care).
  •  Providing home- and community-based clinical therapy for both individuals and families that encompass mental health, substance abuse and trauma treatments. Developing and implementing clinical treatment plans for the family within the model guidelines and with feedback from weekly group supervision.
  • Maintaining weekly face-to-face sessions with families and providing additional support via phone.
  • Providing direct clinical treatment that is consistent with the evidence based model.
  • Training in the evidence based model
  • Actively participating in building clinical skills, ongoing training and individual clinician development.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy required.
  • Experience with family therapy preferred.
  • LMSW or LMHC, or LCSW strongly preferred.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
