Sr. Barnes is a former president of the Sisters of Charity and as such, she has extensive experience in the governance of not-for-profit organizations. In addition to The Foundling, she has also served on the Boards of hospitals, nursing homes, and colleges. Her particular interest as a board member is in the oversight of quality and mission integration. Sr. Carol has an academic background in math and math education and a second master’s degree in pastoral counseling. She has taught at the elementary, secondary and post-secondary levels.
Junior Board
The Junior Board is a dynamic group of young professionals in their 40s and under dedicated to volunteering their time, talents, and energy to raise critical funds for The Foundling.
