Those who have decided to leave planned gifts to The Foundling are eligible to join The Fitzgibbon Society – an exclusive group that honors and continues the legacy of Mary Irene Fitzgibbon, who founded The New York Foundling in 1869. Responding to a growing need in the community, she acted with compassion, devotion, and purpose to provide opportunities for the children and families of New York.
We are inspired by Sister Fitzgibbon’s work every day, and hope that you too will help honor her legacy and choose to make a gift to The Foundling that will provide support and opportunity for generations to come.
