I joined The New York Foundling’s Junior Board in 2018 after meeting several members and attending their events. Having spent most of my professional career in child welfare, I now serve as the Permanency Coordinator and Immigration Liaison at The Foundling, as well as Co-Chair of the Junior Board’s Volunteer and Mission Engagement Committee. I received a Bachelor of Science in Sociology and Anthropology from Virginia Commonwealth University. Joining the Junior Board has given me a meaningful way to give back beyond my daily work and to further support the organization’s mission.
