Dive into stories of Foundling adoptions in this inspiring mini-event!  Including an overview of our history and impact, stories of resilience shared by Foundling adoptees and descendants, and a peek at what our work looks like today, the evening will pay tribute to those who helped create our longstanding legacy in the community.

The evening will include:

  • An overview of The Foundling’s early adoption services presented by Carol Barnes, S.C., Director of Mission Engagement at The New York Foundling
  • Discussion of the Orphan Train movement and 20th century Foundling history led by Shaley George, Curator of National Orphan Train Complex
  • Adoptee Storytelling featuring personal stories from Foundling adoptees and descendants
  • An overview of The Foundling’s Present-Day Adoption Services with current staff members
