How We’re Taking Action Against COVID
The New York Foundling’s COVID-19 Response
As the City and State of New York take measures to curtail the spread of COVID-19, The New York Foundling will continue to be proactive in our efforts to support our community and those we serve.
Given the recent closures of NYC schools, restaurants, and businesses, many New Yorkers are likely to have additional needs in the weeks ahead. We are committed to being there for the children, adults, and families in our programs during this challenging time.
Our leadership team is working in coordination with the Administration for Children’s Services, the New York State Office of Children and Family Services, the Office for People With Developmental Disabilities, and other agencies to determine how we can implement methods – virtual or otherwise – to safely continue our programs and services. We are closely monitoring the news, and will continue to adapt accordingly.
For more than 150 years, The Foundling has represented stability, strength, and support for the New York City community, and that will not change.
