Did you know that before The Foundling began its tutoring program for foster youth, only 35 percent graduated from high school?
Thanks to the combination of tutoring and advocacy at The Foundling, our students’ high school graduation rate has increased by 50%.
We do everything possible to help kids in the city’s child welfare system succeed: from Pre-K through college — with programs like the college dorm project and Haven Academy charter school in the south Bronx. We believe every child in foster care has the right to a quality education and we know what works.
