The Foundling’s 4th Annual Fall Fête Raises $630k in Support of Programs for Children, Families, and Adults with Developmental Disabilities

On November 1, nearly 300 guests gathered at the Metropolitan Club on Manhattan’s Upper East Side in support of The Foundling’s 4th annual Fall Fête, our most important fundraising event of the year.

Thanks to our supporters, we raised more than $630,000, which will be put to work immediately, helping to fund 30+ life-changing, research-backed programs offered by The Foundling. These programs reach more than 30,000 children, families, and adults with developmental disabilities each year.

Our programs open the doors for our community to reach their fullest potential and achieve independence, today and beyond. Ana and Sky, proud students thriving in our Dorm Project program, took to the stage to share with guests how the support they receive from The Foundling — including free room and board, meals, and tutoring — is helping them beat the odds.

“The people in the program want to help us, just like all of you. We’re so grateful,” one student told the crowd. “Before, being in foster care, I worried, ‘How am I going to get into college?’ Today, I’m getting help all over the place, and my sister is looking up to me.”

Congratulations, again, to this year’s honorees, the employees of UPS and Robert Farrell — and special thanks to our Master of Ceremonies Pat Kiernan, host committee, auctioneer Robbie Gordy, auction donors, and all of our sponsors:
