The Foundling provides mental health services and resources to children and families in all five boroughs of New York City. Utilizing a number of evidence-based models, our programs use proven strategies to set up children for a healthy future, and to keep families safe, supported, and together.

The Foundling’s Developmental Disabilities Division provides support for people with developmental disabilities in New York City, Rockland, Orange, and Westchester Counties, reaching more than 1,000 adults and children every year. Our programs create a supportive and nurturing environment, helping the people we serve strive toward independence and become thriving members of their communities.

Interested in Pediatric Medical Care?

The Children’s Health Center of The New York Foundling – our pediatric medical clinic in Mott Haven (170 Brown Place, 4th Floor, Bronx, NY) – provides health care to patients ages 0-21, and is open to the community.

Cost and Insurance

The center accepts New York State Medicaid and a variety of other private and commercial insurances. No one will be denied access to services due to their inability to pay; a discounted sliding fee schedule based solely on family size and income is available to all patients.

Services

The Foundling’s medical practice provides high-quality, personalized, holistic care to all patients. Services include preventive care, well-child visits and physical exams, vaccinations and lab screenings, developmental and behavioral screenings, and sick visits.

Other Pediatric Medical Clinics

The Foundling also operates pediatric medical clinics in Queens, Brooklyn, and Staten Island – open exclusively to eligible youth in foster care. Learn more about these here.
