Howard Goldberg

Howard Goldberg

Chief Compliance Officer
Senior Staff

Howard Goldberg began his career in the social services sector working as a direct care worker at a group home for individuals with developmental disabilities in Long Island. He continued this work for many years, running several group homes and residences. Howard also ran a day program in Queens for individuals with complex medical needs, and then began to focus his career on quality assurance and training. Howard has worked at FEGS, Greenwich House, and most recently, at The Institute for Community Living (ICL), where he was Chief Quality & Compliance Officer. At ICL, Howard oversaw its compliance program, quality assurance, risk management and its strategic process management efforts. At The Foundling, he brings this wealth of knowledge and experience to move our compliance and quality assurance agenda forward.

Howard received his bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in Health Administration from Hofstra University. He also earned his green belt in Six-Sigma training.
