#CallingAllHeroes! Won’t you help us #StopChildAbuse?

Every year The New York Foundling teaches 20,000 kids how to recognize, resist and report abuse through its award-winning Child Abuse Prevention Program (CAPP).  Until we reach a day when abuse and neglect cease to exist, The Foundling will continue to educate and empower children.

In effort to raise awareness and support for The Foundling’s Child Abuse Prevention Program, The Foundling launched its first ever #CallingAllHeroes to #StopChildAbuse Social Media Campaign in observance of National Child Abuse Prevention Month (April 1-30).

For every new person who follows @TheNYFoundling in April on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter, Foundling Board of Trustee member @Rebekah_Dopp will generously donate $2 towards The Foundling’s Child Abuse Prevention Program!* Dopp has been a Foundling Board of Trustees  member since 2014 and prior to joining the Board of Trustee’s for The New York Foundling, Dopp served as Chairman of the Board for the Child Abuse Prevention Program.

We thank everyone who participated in the #CallingAllHeroes Social Media Campaign!

With the support of our followers and special recognition from Alysia Reiner, Cynthia Rowley, Sen. Chuck Schumer, Holly Peterson, Lucy Walters, Mallory Hagan, Mariel Hemingway, and Star Jones, within a week we have been able to gain over 2,000 new followers across our three social media platforms- Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. Though we have made much progress in just one week, we still need your help to #StopChildAbuse!
