Help Keep Families in Crisis Safe

I.          Each year, The New York Foundling Maria Lucadamo Crisis Nursery and Family Center serves over 200 families struggling to stay together.  Children are allowed to stay for up to three weeks in a safe, welcoming environment, while their parents address critical issues on the home front.  The only program of its kind in New York City, our unreimbursed expenses run up to $10,000 per bed, of which there are 10.  Please sign on to adopt a bed today, and help a family in need.

II.         Help keep families together and out of respite care by funding a social worker to provide critical follow-up services once a family leaves the Crisis Nursery.  By connecting parents to community-based services and supports, the family is less likely to re-enter care, allowing us to serve others who desperately need our assistance.
