For more than 40 years, The New York Foundling  has been providing high quality, affordable family day care to families and children in the Bronx and Manhattan. We provide safe, culturally sensitive in-home and after school supervision, integrated with educational activities. 

We care for children:
- ages 6 weeks to 12 years
- Monday through Friday, 8am - 6pm
- in many neighborhoods in the Bronx and Manhattan
- with special needs (child-specific)

Why Should You Entrust The Foundling with Your Children?

The New York Foundling Family Day Care and Group Family Day Care services meet the highest city, state and federal standards.  We are regulated by the State Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS).  All homes are licensed by New York City and operate in compliance with Section 417 of the NYS Department of Social Services Day Care Registration Law, and with all other city, state and federal guidelines.  Child-to-caregiver ratio is in accordance with the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, and is compatible with Council on Accreditation (COA) child home care ratios.
