David Jones, LMSW is the Clinical Director/Male-involvement Specialist for the Visiting Nurse Service Early Steps Family Center, supporting services for fathers. His Fathers First Initiative gained widespread attention as an innovative approach to working with predominantly African American/Hispanic adolescent males. His work is presented at national conferences and has been featured on UPN, WNBC, and Headline News. In 2005, The Visiting Nurse Association of America (VNAA) selected him as "Innovator of the Year" for his outstanding work with fathers.
